This "ReginaCreates" original was designed to eliminate both of those problems.
Not only are you getting a beautiful, handmade cottagecore aesthetic, but I’ve built this to function like a high-end fashion accessory:
- The No-Stretch Strap: I’ve replaced the typical yarn handle with a 20-inch structured shoulder strap. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and—most importantly—it stays the same length no matter how much you carry.
- The Solid Foundation: This bag is crocheted directly into and around a 5.9" solid faux leather base. It’s finished with tiny gold-tone metal feet so it stands up on its own and stays clean when you set it down.
The Details
- Artisan Craftsmanship: Hand-crocheted using a soft, floral T-Shirt yarn in a vibrant white, coral, and leafy green print. I used a technical mix of single, half-double, and double crochet stitches to create a dense, rich texture.
- Custom Hardware: The bag features a fold-over flap with a unique yarn-covered wooden button closure. The gold-tone swivel lobster clasps allow the strap to move freely without tangling.
